The Story So Far
Mission Bend United Methodist Church began in October 1979, and chartered in 1980 with 108 members. After meeting in Towne West Elementary School for several years, MBUMC completed its first building on Bellaire Boulevard just West of Highway 6 in July 1983. In January 1995, 17 acres a mile further north on Highway 6 was purchased, and the new facilities were completed in May 1997. We have been part of the Mission Bend/Alief/Townewest area for over 40 years and are looking forward to join God in his work in the world.
