Koinonia Hicks Elementary
Mission Bend UMC has chosen to build a community of Koinonia of praying for the Alief ISD and will focus for one week on praying for the Howard T. Hicks Elementary. During the February 20th worship service, our youth lead the worship service and prayed with the congregation for the students, teachers, administrators, volunteers, and support staff of the Hicks Elementary.
Each week Mission Bend UMC will pray for a different school from the Alief ISD system. Mission Bend UMC invites all members and visitors to keep praying for the Alief ISD and its schools each week.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
