MARCH 2020 MBUMC FOCUS PRAYER
You are invited to join the Prayer Ministry team in praying this prayer.
Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. (Psalm 95:6 NAS)
To come into existence, to have a starting point, to do the first part of an action or deed. This is beginnings.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. (Genesis 1, 31a NKJV).
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. Respect and obey the Lord! This is the first step to wisdom and good sense. God will always be respected. (Psalm 111:10 NKJV/CEV)
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. All you say can be trusted; your teachings are true and will last forever. (Psalm 119:160 KJV/CEV).
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Respect and obey the Lord! This is the beginning of knowledge. Only a fool rejects wisdom and good advice. (Proverbs 1:7 KJV/CEV).
In the beginning was the one who is called the Word. The Word was with God and was truly God. Before the world began, The Word was there. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1 CEV/ERV)
And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18 NKJV). “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8 NKJV)
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land. (Psalm 95:1-5 NKJV)
Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Maker,
For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. (Ps.95:6-7)
