You are invited to join the Prayer Ministry team in praying this focus prayer.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will live, even though they die; and those who live and believe in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26 GNT
Restore us, O God of our salvation…Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord, and grant us Your salvation. (Psalm 85:4a, 6-7 NKJV). Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. (Psalm 51:10-12 NKJV)
Holy God, you strengthen those who are weak and tired. But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak. (Isaiah 40:29, 31 GNT). The Lord says, “Let my people return to me. Remove every obstacle from their path! Build the road and make it ready! I am the high and holy God, who lives forever. I live in a high and holy place, but I also live with people who are humble and repentant, so that I can restore their confidence and hope. (Isaiah 57:14-15 GNT)
My friends, because of God’s great mercy to us, let us offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to God, which is our reasonable service. Let us not conform ourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform us inwardly by a complete change of our minds. Then we will be able to know the will of God—what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect. (Romans 12:1-2 GNT).
Our hearts and minds must be made completely new, and we must put on the new self, which is created in God’s likeness and reveals itself in the true life that is upright and holy. (Ephesians 4:23-24 GNT). May it be so, in Jesus/s name, Amen.
I serve a risen Savior; he’s in the world today.
I know that he is living, whatever foes may say.
I see his hand of mercy, I hear his voice of cheer;
And just the time I need him, he’s always near.
He lives, he lives, Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.
He lives, he lives, salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know he lives? He lives within my heart
