A Wall Knocked Down
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under
heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
Read: With these words, Peter spoke truth to power. He explained to the leaders and rulers of the people that Jesus, whom they had rejected, is the cornerstone of our faith and only through him can we be saved. Because of Jesus, we can approach God in prayer.
Action: On the paper provided, write the name (or, if you’d rather not write the name, draw a symbol to remind you) of a person you know who lacks confi dence to approach God in prayer. Keep the paper as a reminder to pray for that person daily, knowing that Jesus tore that wall down for all who believe in him. Look for opportunities to share Jesus’ love with that person.
